| Here we are all dolled up for the big event! Boy were we excited for this one folks! It was going to be a rock'em sock'em good time! Whoo whee! This one would usher in a new era in my life. This was to be one of my first close friends' wedding. After this, it's all wine coolers and backyard bbqs and keepin' the kids away from the lawn tools. | |
| The art work at the New Haven Hotel was definitely remarkable. So much so, I decided to take a picture of it. This on was called "Momma, I got another 'F', please love me." | |
| After an amazing ceremony at the Yale Div School chapel, we collected in the common room for a reception and cake. Here is a rather dim shot of the receiving line. | |
| Cindy and Ila are discussing their favorite parts of the day so far. Smiles were found all around. (I rhymed!) | |
| Here is another picture of Tyler and Natalie receiving their guests. Shaking more hands than a politcal candidate. (practice perhaps??) | |
| Ahh, the Cake Bandita! Oh so sweet, oh so cute, oh so in the cake! It actually was very adorable, that this girl had no clue practically everyone was watching her "sneak" a swipe at the cake. | |
| Here you can see all the people turning their attention to the Cake Bandita. | |
| Tyler and Natalie rush over to rescue the cake. Tyler says," My cake! Raaarh!!" | |
| I was lucky enough to catch the newly weds here in between table greeting, dancing, cake cutting and smooching. A dashing couple indeed! | |
| The boquet toss was relatively tame. I've been to some weddings where people have lost life and or limb going after the flowers. Natalie got pretty good trajectory on the arragement and made it a fair jump for the flowers. Cindy did particpate, but did not struggle too hard for the catch. | |
| If there is one thing that will stand out in my mind from Tyler and Natalie's wedding, besides all the excellent dancing, it would be the couples dance where the dj invited all married folks onto the floor. Then he slowly increased the number of years married and began whittling down the number of couples dancing. After, I think, 60 years or so, Tyler's grandparents continuted dancing away. It was really great to see them and celebrate with them on this day! Look at that smile! | |
| After all the dancing and toasting, we had a brunch the next morning and before Tyler and Natalie dashed off to their honeymoon to play lots of parcheesi on the beach, we snapped a quick shot over eggs and toast. Thank you both for such an excellent party!!! |
