| Taking pictures in Las Vegas was a bit tougher than we had anticipated. First because we were getting tired of luggin all our equipment around. But also because the casino folks didn't like photo happies. So, we took our adevntures 10 miles from the strip to the Ethel M chocolate factory and cactus garden. We got a nice tour and extra free cholocate for being polite. Here Cindy is sitting below some cacti with her bag of chocolates. The factory was a nice respite from the busy, noisy strip of Las Vegas. | ![]() |
| This is probably my favorite self portrait taken in the cactus gardens. | ![]() |
| We did take a picture in the shopping mall at Caesars. Here we petitioned the gode Zeus for safe and happy travels for the rest of our days. He struck some thunder and spit some water and then we went to find a slot machine. Unfortunately, we lost a grand total of $1.80. | ![]() |
| The multi-lane roads which run along the strip are far too dangerous to cross at street level. Cindy and I are pictured here on one of the cross bridges with the strip in the background. It looked a bit like the cheese entertainment district in Niagara Falls, but bigger. | ![]() |
| The obligatory photo of the strip also taken from one of the cross bridges. Our hotel, New York New York is in the foreground. It was nothing like New York at all. | ![]() |
