Boy, did 2004 end in a hurry. In a whirlwind decision and shopping process, we have moved our wedding date up more than 1 year to this July. I suppose what I had hoped would have been a year to finish settling will now just be a continuation of changes. Heck why not??

Traveling around the holidays is always a bit stressful. You've got the change in your routine, the other nutty travelers and in our case the change in weather as well. We got on the plane in California and it was 50 or 60 degrees. When we landed it was in the teens. I think California is starting to make me a weather wimp.

I don't have anything all that insightful for the new year as of yet. In someways I think I am still digesting what happened last year. It was suggested that I should update the site to reflect that I am slowly settling. In some ways, yes, I think I have started to settle in to SoCal lifestyle. As much as one can be expected to settle in 3 months. But next year will continue to be a series of transitions too, and for the time being, I think I'll continue to share these changes with you all.
