Still haven't found what I'm lookin' for
The transition continues.
The boxes are almost removed from the premise. Unfortunately 3 or 4 consecutive days of rain came down and made some of the remaining boxes mushy. On the upside, they are much easier to fold and deal with as a result.
As part of an ongoing activity, I had to come up with a list of everyone who came to the house. I was shocked to see that I could use one hand to count. As a result, I bring another suggestion for getting acclimated to new settings, throw a party. By throwing a party, you have an excuse to talk to and reach out to new people. Who ever shows up is obviously interested in being social and perhaps may want to be folded into a social network.
We are in the planning stages and have been coming up with a list of invitees. We are a bit unsure how to invite the neighbors short of keeping watch over their house and catching them coming in or going out. That may be a bit stalker-esque though?
Go Red Sox. With their world series victory in hand, New England should be good and set for championships for a few decades. Another positive for the world series ending is I can now focus on football. The Eagles are still undefeated. Pretty cool.
We attended a wedding back East, and the pictures can be found here. It was great to see everyone although, as the groom said, if we had the wedding a few years earlier, we would have needed more room to hold all the people. Reviewing the weekend, I started thinking about the amount of time between today and when I will get married. Haven't sorted these thoughts out yet...the transition continues?
